We drank schnapps and ate a lot of meat from the open fire. After 13 years in Namibia as an Africanized Djerry, I received an invitation and friends of the organizer – South Africans, Rhodesians, Mozambicans and Namibians – joined the party.

Loud voice – small gecko

Anyone who has ever spent an evening in the Namib Desert must have heard the loud call of a chirping gecko (the Namib chirping gecko (Ptenopus carpi)), especially in the summer months.
