The best vacation ever
Unforgettable travel experiences that have changed our lives for the better.
»If an idea doesn’t sound absurd at the beginning, it’s no good.« (Albert Einstein)
This is us
Who are we and how do we travel?
Our life in harmony with nature.
We love being on the road, whether on foot, by bike, in an off-roader or in a kayak. Telling stories about life. Enjoying the little things.

Years of experience
Around the world
As a globetrotter, adventurer or traveler.
Traveling brings change and a different perspective on things.
In our oversaturated, frenzied, noisy, carefree life on constant reception, I need to reboot at certain intervals, i.e. to ‚reset‘ and restart my brain. If you like: a reorganization of the values and norms that are otherwise imposed on us as a given. The mendacious promises and lulling achievements of our social Darwinist feel-good community in the land of milk and honey are simply too good to stay awake and mentally active in the long term… – which is why a return to nature and minimalism is a good idea.
It is important to understand that adventure comes from a different perception and ‚being aware‘ for everyone. Some people fear wild bucks in the city park, others need a shark dive with a bloody steak in the front of their swimming trunks.
But one thing is certain: adventure lurks everywhere!
For better understanding
The trips and expeditions listed below are time-outs that I have often experienced together with my life partner. Some took weeks, some lasted several months or even years.
Sea kayaking adventures, trekking tours in the outback or the deserts of Namibia. On foot (Wanderlust) with backpack and tent through different countries and their unique cultures. Biking across Europe or hiking through the Alps as well as the most beautiful off-road treks are behind our trips and their reports.
Countries such as Africa, North America, Europe, Japan, Asia, Australia, Russia, etc. were the destinations of our wanderlust, where we traveled under scientific, survival or outdoor aspects.
Each country has its very own story, which we captured in words, pictures and films.

Against the mainstream
In search of lost places in the European backcountry.
Start: April 2024, End probably 03/28/20251
We are planning a ‚Hinterland Trilogy‚ in Western, Southern and Central Europe (e.g. France-Spain-Portugal) to ‚lost‘ and ‚forgotten‘ places: close to nature, minimalist, sustainable, considerate and with respect for nature – but not at Neanderthal level.
No one can turn back the clock!
